Project Overview
Baltimore-based real estate development company of Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse, Inc. (SBER) is undertaking two significant redevelopment projects in the Charles Village neighborhood.
Village Lofts and Village West
SBER has teamed with Canyon Johnson Urban Fund II to turn the 3200 block of St. Paul Street into a vibrant mixed-use community. The developments will offer ground-floor retail, market-rate apartments and structured parking.
In February 2003, SBER created the Charles Village Task Force, which consisted of representatives from surrounding community and business associations, non-profits and institutions. Over the course of the ensuing months, the task force met regularly to review and discuss plans for the projects.
Village Lofts broke ground in August of 2005 and is scheduled for delivery in January 2007. The Olmsted (formerly Village West) has completed the design approval process and will be under construction in Fall 2006.
Please let us know what you think. SBER created this website at the recommendation of community residents. Please visit the website often to get updates about the projects, or to provide feedback.
